A victory this Thursday night ensures the Colts an AFC Wildcard berth. The Jaguars (5-9) host
the hottest team in the NFL. After their mediocre 3-4 start to the season, the Colts have won seven in a row
to improve their record to 10-4.
Giants & Cowboys Look to Get Back to Their Winning Ways
NFC East champion Giants (11-2) look to clinch a 1st round playoff bye as they visit the
Dallas Cowboys (8-5) on Sunday Night Football.
The Cowboys need to keep winning to insure their playoff berth.
The Giants are 5-1 on the road and the Dallas Cowboys are 5-1 at home this season.
Mad Dash to the Playoffs as NFL 2008 Season Enters Its Final 3 Weeks
The final three weeks of the NFL 2008 season are upon us, and aside from the division-winning Arizona Cardinals (8-5),
New York Giants (11-2) and Tennessee Titans (12-1), it's a mad dash for the nine remaining playoff spots among the 19 teams still
eligible. There will be twists and turns in the remaining 3 weeks of the NFL 2008 regular season.
AFC North Division Rivals Set for Defensive Battle
NFL 2008 Week 15 presents one of the most heated rivalries in the NFL between two AFC North division foes as the
Steelers travel to Baltimore to face the Ravens this Sunday. On paper, this AFC North match-up should be one intense
defensive battle. Pittsburgh enters the contest ranked No. 1, while the Ravens are No. 2.
Real-Deal Panthers Set to Expose Broncos at Home
The AFC West-leading Broncos (8-5) face the NFC South-leading Panthers (10-3) in Week 15. Denver heads to Carolina
sporting a 3-game road winning streak and winners of 4 of their last 5. The Panthers come off their most
impressive victory of the season proving they are the real-deal this season.
No Place Like Home in the NFC South The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons look to rebound after both lost on the road last week to NFC South Division rivals.
Both teams are in need of this win to maintain their standing in the NFC Wildcard race and perhaps the NFC South Divsion Title.
AFC East Leading Jets Aim to Rebound Against Bills
After defining moment victories on the road against the Patriots & Titans, the Jets have fallen to lesser opponents over the
past two weeks. First losing to the Broncos at home (34-17) and then losing to the 49ers (24-14) in San Francisco, the Jets
now find themselves in a dogfight for the AFC East title.
NFC Division Leading Vikings & Cardinals Clash in Desert
This Sunday's game is a match-up of first-place teams with 8-5 records as the Vikings visit the Cardinals in Arizona.
The Minnesota Vikings have a one-game lead on Chicago in the NFC North. The Cardinals are the NFC West champions.
Saints Face Bears and Chicago's December Chill
The big question is whether Quarterback Drew Brees and the Saints top-ranked NFL passing offense can perform up to
its explosive level outdoors in the December chill of the Chicago night. The New Orleans Saints utilized a more
balanced run / pass attack last week in topping the Atlanta Falcons 29-25.
Playoff Races in Full Swing as Teams Vie for Position With three weeks remaining in the regular season only 3 teams have clinched playoff spots while the race to make the
playoffs is even tighter.
NFL 2008 Week 14 was a week in which three teams clinched NFL playoff spots. The Tennessee Titans (12-1) clinched the
AFC South by defeating the Cleveland Browns 28-9. The Arizona Cardinals won the NFC West by winning 34-10 over the Saint
Louis Rams. And even though, they lost to the Eagles 2-14, the Giants clinched the NFC East by virtue of the Dallas Cowboys
20-13 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
NFL 1958 Championship: Giants vs Colts Fifty years ago this December 28, 2008, what would become known as "The Greatest Game every Played" took
place -– the 1958 NFL Championship Game between the Baltimore Colts and New York Giants at Yankee
Stadium in New York City.
And when Colts fullback ALAN AMECHE burst through a hole
for a one-yard touchdown with 6:45 left in overtime (left) – at 4:51 on a foggy, drizzly day –
he took the National Football League with him into a new era.
Bucs & Panthers to Break NFC South Deadlock on MNF
Finally a Monday Night Football game with serious meaning and some serious implications as these two division rivals
square off tied for first in the NFC South.
The Panthers aren't excited to be facing Bucs QB JEFF GARCIA. Garcia, a tough & resourceful NFL veteran, has beaten
the Carolina Panthers the last five times he has faced them.
Of course, Panthers QB JAKE DELHOMME has been his effective self
this year, particularly at home. Delhomme has led Carolina to an undefeated 6-0 home record with the Panthers outscoring
their opponents 166-78.
Steelers Set to Shut Down Cowboys & Romo at Home
Tony Romo has led the Cowboys to three consecutive wins in spite of a broken pinkie. However, this week is a different
story as the Cowboys pay a visit to the "Blitzburgh" Steelers and the NFLs best defense.
Despite the pinkie injury, Tony Romo comes off a 331-yard three touchdown Thanksgiving Day game performance in which he led
the Dallas Cowboys to touchdowns in their first three possessions and points in its first four that ended in a 34-9 win over the
Seattle Seahawks. But this is a Steelers team with QB BEN ROETHLISBERGER who is 14-4 lifetime against the NFC at the helm of
a consistent offense and a defense that blitzes and distracts opponents into total confusion and ultimate submission.
Eagles Visit NFC East Division Leading Rival Giants in Midst of Burress Saga
Donovan McNabb and Brian Westbrook are back, but the Giants continue to roll. Off their Thanksgiving performances in
the Eagles win 48-20 over the Cardinals, Eagles QB DONOVAN MC NABB (four TD passes) and RB BRIAN WESTBROOK (110 yards
rushing, two TDs rushing, two receiving) look like they are ready to help the Philadelphia Eagles make a Wild Card run.
However, the Giants will be one tough test as the Giants have not lost an NFC East Division game since
last December and are 6-0 this year at Giants Stadium, their longest home winning streak since seven in a row in 1990.
Redskins Short Trip North to Face Ravens in Beltway Bowl IV
The "Battle of the Beltway" between the Redskins and Ravens pits two strong running, tough defense
teams in the midst of the NFL playoff scramble against one another. The Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens
meet for only the 4th time and first time ever in Baltimore.
December Drama Unfolds as NFL 2008 Week 14 Approaches
With four weeks left in the NFL 2008 regular season the "Drama of December" begins to see who makes the NFL 2008 Playoffs and who is left out in the cold.
It is December after all, which means that the final four weeks of the NFL 2008 season with all its suspense and surprises are about to begin.
"A couple of weeks ago, all the games became must-wins," says running back SAMMY MORRIS of the New England Patriots. "Now there's even more emphasis on every game."
NFL 2008 Week 14 Playoff Races & Playoff Scenarios
Two things are for sure heading into NFL 2008 Week 14: Five NFL teams have been eliminated while no team clinched
a playoff birth in NFL Week 13. Both the Arizona Cardinals and the Tennessee Titans had an opportunity to clinch playoff
spots last week. However, that never materialized. Both can clinch this week plus a few more teams are in the hunt.
NFL 2008 Week 13: Giants Travel to DC - NFC East Division Matchup versus Redskins
The New York Giants (10-1) and Washington Redskins (7-4) meet for second time this NFL 2008 season at FedEx Field in Washington DC.
Heading into NFL 2008 Week 13, both teams are in good shape. The Giants considered the class of the NFL this
season. The Redskins are strong playoff contenders currently in a battle with the Cowboys (8-4), Panthers (8-3)
and Falcons (7-4) for the two Wildcard spots in the NFC. The Giants are focused and eager to maintain their lead
in the NFL's winningest division, the NFC East, with a .670 winning percentage.
NFL 2008 Week 13: Jets Home to face Broncos After Impressive Pair of Road Victories
After impressive back-to-back road victories over the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans, the Jets head home to
face the AFC West division leading Denver Broncos. The Denver Broncos suffered a 31-10 loss at home to the Oakland
Raiders last week.
Time for Turkey with All the Trimmings & NFL 2008 Week 13 with All the Excitement
Forget "seconds." How about "thirds"? That is the appetizer on the NFL Thanksgiving menu this week – three
Turkey Day servings of NFL football, followed by a whole lineup of NFL games on Thanksgiving Sunday and Monday.
Even the players will be in their easy chairs.
"I remember watching Thanksgiving games as a kid," says
Indianapolis Colts quarterback PEYTON MANNING. "Even in high school and college, and now in the NFL, you practice,
you come home and you watch Thanksgiving football."
Peyton Manning & the Indianapolis Colts are on a roll having won 4 games in a row heading into NFL 2008 Week 13.
NFL 2008 Week 13: AFC North-leading Steelers Face Patriots in Foxborough
The Steelers (8-3) bring the NFLs top-ranked defense to Foxborough for a late-season clash for the second straight season.
This year, the Pittsburgh defense has allowed the league's fewest yards and fewest points, while the Patriots (7-4)
offense is coming off of back-to-back 500-yard games for the first time in franchise history.
NFL 2008 Week 13 Playoff Races & Playoff Scenarios
The Cardinals and Titans can become the first teams this NFL 2008 season to clinch playoff berths on Thanksgiving.
12 teams in the NFC are within one game of .500 or better entering NFL 2008 Week 13. The Eagles & Panthers have
the toughest remaining schedule of the contenders. In the AFC, the NFL 2008 playoff picture is becoming clearer as 9
AFC teams are at least one game above .500.
Kurt Warner NFL 2008 MVP Candidate
Kurt Warner is a two-time NFL MVP, having won the awards in both 1999 and 2001 as a member of the Saint Louis Rams.
Can Kurt Warner win the NFL 208 MVP honor becoming only the second player in NFL history to be a three-time MVP?
The answer is yes and heading into NFL 2008 Week 13, Kurt Warner is the leading candidate.
NFL 2008 Week 12 NFL Division Leaders Clash Giants-Cardinals & Jets-Titans
The Arizona Cardinals (7-3) and undefeated Tennessee Titans find themselves this NFL
2008 week 12 on the cusp of clinching playoff spots. That's great. But the real assignment
this NFL 2008 week 12. Just beat the next opponent. The rest will take care of itself.
The Cardinals face the Giants while the Titans take on the Jets. These two NFL 2008 Week 12
games pit division leaders against one another. Combine the four team records together and you
get a 33-7 won-loss record and an .825 winning percentage.
Drew Brees & Kurt Warner On Pace to Break Dan Marino NFL Single Season Passing Record
5,084 yards represents the NFLs single-season passing record, set in 1984 by Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback
Dan Marino. It is the mark that every quarterback shoots for. Through the first 10 games of the NFL 2008 season,
two quarterbacks have Dan Marino's milestone NFL single season passing record in their sights, New Orleans Saints
QB DREW BREES and Arizona Cardiinals QB KURT WARNER.
NFL 2008 Week 11: Titans Beat Rival Jaguars 24-14 The Tennessee Titans scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to erase a
14-3 halftime deficit in Jacksonville and defeat the Jaguars by a final score of 24-14.
The Tennessee Titans, the NFLs only remaining undefeated team (10-0), head home after consecutive road
wins to take on the New York Jets.
However, the victory did not come easy for the Titans and in the first half, at least, it appeared that
the Titans were on their way to their first defeat of the NFL 2008 season to their division rival.
NFL Football 2008 Week 11: Titans go for 10-0 & Big Division Clashes Highlight NFL Week 11
Heading into NFL 2008 Week 11 against their AFC South-rival Jacksonville Jaguars, the Titans quest is for
10-0. Two of the hottest rivals, the New York Jets and New England Patriots battle for first in the
AFC East this NFL 2008 Week 11. A battle of number ones between Giants and Ravens. NFL's top-ranked rushing offense squares off against
the league's top run defense. After their bye weeks, NFC East rivals Redskins and Cowboys are back at it big-time, with lots of scenarios.
NFL Football 2008 Week 11: Bears Packers Historic 175th Meeting Most Series Games in NFL History
This Sunday at Lambeau Field, the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will meet for the 175th time, the most regular-season games ever between two NFL franchises.
NFL 2008: Titans Beat Bears 21-14. Become 23rd Team in NFL History to Start Season 9-0
A limited rushing attack forced the Tennessee Titans to rely heavily on
their passing game against the Chicago Bears for NFL 2008 Week 11. The 21 to 14
victory elevated the Titans record to 9-0 thus remaining the NFL's only unbeaten team. The Titans
are the 23rd team in NFL history to start 9-0 and the 14th NFL team since 1970 to win their first 9 games.
NFL Football 2008 Week 10: NFL Midseason Report & AFC NFC Projections
With the NFL 2008 Season half way through going into NFL 2008 Week 10, two things are for sure -- the defending
Super Bowl New York Giants (7-1) and the undefeated Tennessee Titans (8-0).
The New York Giants have the best record in the NFC (7-1) and are on pace to match the 1986 team for the most
wins in franchise history. That team finished 14-2 and won Super Bowl XXI.
The underrated Tennessee Titans defensive prowess and an effective running game have set the tone for the
NFL's only remaining undefeated team.
NFL Football 2008 Week 10: It's hard to fly under the radar when you're undefeated. But that's exactly what the Tennessee Titans believe they're doing, and it doesn't bother them a bit. The Titans this week seek to become the 11th team -- including one in each of the past three years -- to start a season at 9-0 since the 16-game schedule was established in 1978.
And they don't care if people haven't quite noticed. "I still think we're flying under the radar," says Titans fullback AHMARD HALL, a former U.S. Marine.
NFL 2008: Week 10 Statistics, Milestones & Records
Since 2000, 20 teams have reached the halfway point of the season with a .500 or below winning percentage and proceeded to the playoffs, including at least one in each season.

Halfway through the NFL 2008 Season, almost nothing is clear going into week 9.
Sure, one club is spotless, the Tennessee Titans at 7-0 with a four-game lead in the AFC South going into NFL 2008 Week 9.
Right behind them are the 6-1 New York Giants – but with only a half-game lead in the NFC East over the Washington Redskins.
Two divisions – the AFC East and NFC North – are tied at the top.
NFL 2008 Week 9: Milestones, Records & Statistics
Houston Texans' wide receiver Andre Johnson seeks to set two NFL records. Cardinals Air it Out with LARRY FITZGERALD,
STEVE BREASTON and ANQUAN BOLDIN. Ben Roethlisberger has thrown long TD passes in past three games to wide receiver

A big game in London . . . and lots of them back in the homeland.
That is on the packed docket this week as the NFL features its second regular-season game in London, England
in as many years; The Tennessee Titans going for the first 7-0 start in their history against their longtime
division tormentor the Indianapolis Colts; And a matchup of almost-perfect clubs – the 5-1 New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.
"It will be exciting for everyone involved," says San Diego Chargers head coach NORV TURNER, speaking about
his game at Wembley Stadium in London against the New Orleans Saints. But Norv could just as well be describing
every game on the NFL 2008 Week 8 schedule.
LT Goes For 10 in London, Lucky 7 on Monday Night Football, Eli Manning, Big Ben and Their Rare Accomplishment, Clinton Portis Chasing Fab 5, Steelers and Patriots - Success Against Unfamiliar Opponents,
NFL 2008 Week 7: AFC & NFC Players of the Week
Quarterback MATT CASSEL of the New England Patriots, linebacker TERRELL SUGGS of the Baltimore Ravens and kicker SEBASTIAN JANIKOWSKI of the Oakland Raiders are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played week 7 of the NFL 2008 season (October 19-20)

NFL 2008 Week 7: "In the NFL," says New Orleans Saints head coach SEAN PAYTON, "it's either carnival or crisis."
And that status is in constant flux. Just look at last week. The winning points of four games were scored in
the final 10 seconds of regulation -- the most such games in a week since 1970.
Meanwhile, in the midst of such upheaval, the Tennessee Titans have been traveling
along somewhat quietly and sit as the NFL's lone undefeated team at 5-0, their best start ever.
NFL Football 2008 Week 7: New Orleans Saints quarterback DREW BREES leads the NFL with 1,993 passing yards and is on pace for an
NFL-record 5,314 yards which would surpass DAN MARINO's record 5,084 yards in 1984.
There have been many memorable comebacks this NFL 2008 season so far -- and it's only October. Through the
first six weeks of the season, 28 of 88 games (31.8 percent) have been decided by a fourth-quarter comeback.
NFL Football 2008 Week 6: Quarterback PEYTON MANNING of the Indianapolis Colts, cornerback ERIC WRIGHT of the Cleveland Browns and wide

Two spotless streaks. One unbreakable -- at least for this week.
That's the story for the NFL's last two unbeaten
teams – the 5-0 Tennessee Titans and the 4-0 New York Giants.
The Titans have a bye this week. The Giants conclude the week on Monday night aiming to become the seventh
defending Super Bowl champion to open the season with a 5-0 record. Things indeed seem grand for these two teams,
but a good three-quarters of the season remains -- with surprises to come for sure.
NFL 2008 Week 6: What to Look For As Week 6 May Be Full of Milestones & Achievements
Let's See. NFL Scoring is up in 2008. The Dallas Cowboys so far have scored the most points (151), while the New York Giants lead with the best points per game average (31.8 PPG).
The Washington Redskins have only turned over the ball one time after 5 games for NFL 2008 season. Brett Favre is looking
for the most TD passes through 5 starts with a new team. Michael Turner is close to the best veteran running back
with most rushing yards in first 6 games with new team. Reggie Bush is sure to be the fastest to 200 receptions to start a career as Reggie Bush has 199
career receptions in 33 Games. Terrell Owens, LaDainian Tomlinson, Randy Moss and Marvin Harrison continue to climbe the NFL all-time touchdown list.
NFL Football 2008: Players of the Month September, NFL Rookies of the Month (September, 2008)

and punt returner-running back REGGIE BUSH of the New Orleans Saints are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special
Teams Players of the Week for games played the week 5 of the 2008 NFL season (October 5-6).
NFL 2008 Week 5: Bills & Titans Go For 5-0, Giants 4-0, Eagles - Redskins Clash in NFC East
A lot is happening in the NFL this week. Two teams – the Buffalo Bills (4-0 for the
first time in 16 years) & Tennessee Titans (4-0 for the first time in their history) go for 5-0 records.
But it's only Week 5, they both say.
"We still have a chance to go 4-12," says Titans linebacker KEITH BULLUCK.
Another team – that other club in New York, the Super Bowl champion Giants who were quiet in their bye week while BRETT FAVRE was throwing six touchdown passes -- will look to up their record to 4-0 for the first time since 1990.
NFL 2008 Week 4: AFC & NFC Players of the Week
Quarterback BRETT FAVRE of the New York Jets, linebacker DERRICK JOHNSON of the Kansas City Chiefs and kicker

Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the Week 4 NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played the fourth week of the NFL 2008 season (September 28-29)
NFL 2008 Week 4: In the National Football League, whether it is Week 4, like this week, or
Week 14 of the NFL 2008 season, the pressure is always on.
Sure, you'd rather be undefeated – as six NFL teams are – or at least have a winning record as the last
weekend of September looms.
But all those teams on the downside of the won-loss ledger should remind themselves of the
2007 San Diego Chargers.
The Chargers began last season at 1-3, won their final six games then took an 11-5 record into the
playoffs, advancing all the way to the AFC Championship Game.
"It doesn't matter whether you're the favorite now or the least favorite," says quarterback TONY ROMO of the 3-0 Dallas Cowboys. "The reality of it is you've got to keep playing games. You're not trying to be the favorite now, you're trying to be the favorite at the end of the year."
NFL 2008 Week 3: AFC & NFC Players of the Week
Running back MICHAEL TURNER of the Atlanta Falcons, safety BRIAN DAWKINS of the Philadelphia Eagles and kicker

NFL 2008 Week 3: Fall's Coming Up & the NFL is Heating Up!
Great way to start. Great way to come back.
That easily summarizes developments in the NFL so far this NFL 2008 Season that have already packed a season's worth of
surprise and suspense into the league's first two weeks. As autumn looms on Monday, who can imagine what's in store?
Look at things so far.
Three of the 2-0 teams (Buffalo, Carolina and Denver) won only seven games apiece last year. So things are looking up for them.
But, hold on. Just look at last year. The Giants started 0-2
and won the Super Bowl. The Chargers began 1-3 and reached the AFC Championship Game. It's two weeks down –
and a long way to go!
NFL 2008 Week 2: AFC & NFC Players of the Week
In the NFC, Quarterback KURT WARNER of the Arizona Cardinals, safety CHRIS HORTON of the Washington Redskins
and kick returner-running back FELIX JONES of the Dallas Cowboys are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special
Teams Players of the Week for games played the second week of the NFL 2008 season.
Wide receiver BRANDON MARSHALL of the Denver Broncos, safety TROY POLAMALU of the Pittsburgh Steelers and
linebacker KEITH BULLUCK of the Tennessee Titans are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of
the Week for games played the second week of the 2008 NFL season (September 14-15).
NFL 2008 Week 2: Big Division Games Highlight Week 2
On top of them being key division games, the matchups have intriguing storylines as well. It is only Week 2
of the 2008 NFL season and already "big games" are on tap.
"It's a rival game every time we play in our division," says linebacker BRADIE JAMES of the Dallas Cowboys,
who play NFC East foe Philadelphia on Monday night. "Everybody approaches it like it's a playoff game."
So after a Kickoff week that saw such thrills as a TD on a first pass (Atlanta rookie MATT RYAN on his first
NFL attempt) and one on a last pass (by Carolina quarterback JAKE DELHOMME to win a game with no time left),
here comes Week 2 of what promises to be another memorable NFL season.
NFL 2008 Week 1: AFC & NFC Players of the Week
Running back Willie Parker of the Pittsburgh Steelers, cornerback Cortland Finnegan of the Tennessee Titans
and wide receiver - punt returner Roscoe Parrish of the Buffalo Bills are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played on NFL Kickoff 2008 Weekend.
In the NFC, Running back Michael Turner of the Atlanta Falcons, defensive end Adewale Ogunleye of the Chicago Bears and punt returner - kick returner Will Blackmon
of the Green Bay Packers are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games
played on NFL 2008 Opening Weekend.
NFL 2008 Week 1: The NFL Kicks Off Its 2008 Season
The National Football League roars back into action this Thursday night in the first game of NFL Kickoff 2008
Weekend. In an NFC East Division battle of 2007 playoff teams, the Super Bowl XLII champion New York Giants
host the Washington Redskins at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
"We're ready to roll," says Jacksonville Jaguars QB DAVID GARRARD. "Everybody is excited. It's time to stop just practicing and playing for fun and start playing for real." A full preview, analysis and notes dedicated to NFL 2008 Week 1 (Kickoff Weekend)
Rookie of the Year & Pro Bowl MVP Adrian Peterson Ready to Pick Up Where He Left Off

the single-game rushing record. Peterson also made 19 receptions for 268 yards including a 60 yard touchdown,
and amassed 2,021 combined net yards.
NFL 2008: Chargers' Running Back La Dainian Tomlinson Closes in On Records
In 2008, San Diego Chargers running back La Dainian Tomlinson can pass Pro Football Hall of Famer ERIC
DICKERSON and become the only player in history to begin a career with eight consecutive 1,200-yard rushing
seasons. Tomlinson can also extend his streak of consecutive seasons to start a career with at least 10 rushing
touchdowns to eight. With nine rushing touchdowns, Tomlinson (currently 115) will pass Pro Football Hall of Famer MARCUS ALLEN
(123) to move into second place all-time.

NFL 2008 Quarterbacks Review & Preview
The NFL has a long history of excellence at the quarterback position, but the recent influx of poised
and accurate passers has been steady and remarkable. Coaches' schemes continue to grow more
and more complex, taking advantage of the unique talents of today's QBs. Last season Seven quarterbacks threw
for 4,000 yards, the most ever in a single season; PEYTON MANNING continued to rise to the top of
the NFL's record books; Tom Brady was named the 2007 AP NFL MVP after a record-shattering regular season
who set or tied nine NFL records; and Eli Manning took charge and marched the Giants to Super Bowl Victory and
was named Super Bowl XLII MVP.
NFL 2008: Peyton Manning Colts QB Continues Rising to Top of NFL Record Books
Indianapolis Colts quarterback PEYTON MANNING continues to rise to the top of
the NFL's record books. In 2008, Manning can become the first QB in NFL annals to
throw 25 touchdowns in 11 years in a row as well as become the first to pass for 4,000
yards in nine different seasons. Manning's success has been attributed to his superior
work ethic, preparation, focus, dedication and competitive spirit.
NFL 2008 Kickoff & Punt Returners: Thank Devin For Many Happy Returns
With six combined kick-return touchdowns in 2007 (four punt and two kickoff), Chicago's DEVIN HESTER -- a Pro Bowl All-Star in each of his two NFL seasons -- is widely considered the
king of the return specialists. But there are several worthy adversaries to his throne. Though Hester's kick-return touchdown total set an NFL record, he led in neither kickoff nor
punt return average.
NFL 2008: Double Trouble Running Backs & Big Play Excitement Wide Receivers
Double-Trouble Running Backs seem to be all over the NFL. Guys like La Dainian Tomlinson, Brian Westbrook,
Joseph Addai and others. These are the running backs that can hurt you two ways: rushing or catching the ball.
Wide Receivers such as Torry Holt and Braylon Edwards produce momentum-changing exhilaration from their
teammates and the crowd.
NFL 2008: Active Streaks & Individual Accomplishments on the Horizon
The National Football League's 2008 Season should be a year full of major individual and team record-breaking
performances. The New England Patriots look to continue building upon their regular season all-time winning streak
while the Indianapolis Colts are on track to extend their consecutive 12 or victories per season to six. Peyton Manning and La Dainian Tomlinson continue to expand on their Hall of Fame in the making individual
performances. Plus other NFL Players are likely to set or build upon great individual accomplishments.
NFL 2008 Running Backs: Tandem Backfields - Good Things Come in Pairs
"Tandem" backfields continue to grow! Last season, 12 clubs boasted two running backs with at least 500 rushing yards apiece, including five
playoff teams – the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks.
Additionally, the Super Bowl XLII champion Giants became the fifth Super Bowl winning team since 2000 to feature
two running backs with more than 500 rushing yards each (2006 Colts, 2003 Patriots, 2002 Buccaneers, 2000 Ravens).
In the eight prior seasons, only one such team won the coveted Lombardi Trophy (1996 Packers)

"We had options picking at No. 3," says Dimitroff. "But looking at the skill-set that Matt Ryan possessed, along with his intelligence and leadership ability, we were excited about going in that direction.

Super Bowl XLII: "One of the Greatest Games of All Time"
NFL Super Bowl XLII
He ought to know. He?s a player in the NFL who knows its history. He?s another Manning maybe you?ve heard of -- Peyton -- and that was his summary of Super Bowl XLII last Sunday night in Glendale, Arizona:
"One of the greatest games of all time."
In the game, his brother, New York Giants quarterback ELI MANNING, engineered one of the most memorable late-game-winning drives in Super Bowl history for a 17-14 victory over the New England Patriots at University of Phoenix Stadium. That drive included what many are calling the greatest play in Super Bowl history.

Road Warrior Giants Bring It Home
Undefeated Destiny Disrupted for the 18 -1 New England Patriots
With 2:49 left in Super Bowl XLII it seemed to be yet another perfectly scripted comeback victory for the New England Patriots as Tom Brady connected with Randy Moss for a 7-yard TD completion. However, the Giants went off script as Eli Manning drove the Giants 83 yards for the game winning touchdown.
Super Bowl XLII MVP Eli Manning ended the 12 play 83 yard winning drive when he found Plaxico Burress (17) in the corner of the end zone with 35 seconds to play.
