NFL 2023 - Alternate NFL Team Jerseys

Alternate jerseys and helmets often feature different colors, designs, or throwback aesthetics, providing a unique look for the teams and appealing to fans. Here are this season's alternate NFL team jerseys.

For three games in 2023, the CLEVELAND BROWNS will wear a white alternate helmet with the same white throwback jerseys the team wore in 2021, returning a look that hasn't been worn by the Browns since the franchise was born in 1946. The helmet will also include an orange and brown stripe down the middle and will be the first time the Browns have worn a non-orange helmet in over seven decades.

Along with the white helmet, the Browns also introduced a new logo that was selected by the fans and players -- and it comes with a design that represents everything about the franchise and its fanbase.

The DENVER BRONCOS' new "Snowcapped" helmet will pay homage to Colorado's towering snowcapped mountain ranges, while the stripe and logo reflect a classic look that was first worn in the 1960s. The Broncos, who have worn five helmets during their more than six-decade history, will now feature an all-white helmet shell for the first time.

The DETROIT LIONS will be celebrating their 90th season in style with their new alternative blue helmets paying homage to the organization's heritage with a classic logo from the 1960s. The "Honolulu Blue" shade featured on the helmet has never been worn in the NFL before.

The "Indiana Nights" uniform features -- after years of interest from fans -- a black helmet, the first of its kind in INDIANAPOLIS COLTS history. The Colts' iconic blue is re-imagined in the jersey and pants with a heather pattern -- first of its kind in the NFL -- and the classic shoulder stripes run horizontally across the shoulder pads.

Inspired by the 1960s and 70s, the MINNESOTA VIKINGS' throwback pays homage to the team's earlier voyages with a deeper purple and larger, gold-trimmed numbers than the modern jersey, as well as retro sleeve stripes. "The Classic" will be featured during the 2023 Vikings home opener.

The NEW YORK JETS are bringing back a modernized version of arguably the franchise's most popular uniform combination that will take fans back to the "Sack Exchange Era." The team revealed its "Legacy White" throwback uniforms — a design reminiscent of the uniforms worn by the team from 1979-89.

After long anticipation, the SEATTLE SEAHAWKS unveiled the Kingdome-era threads which replicate what the team wore from 1983 until 2001. Other than the new Nike materials and more modern fit, one additional addendum to the throwbacks is a Kingdome patch inside the neckline, an homage to the Seahawks' original stadium.

The TENNESSEE TITANS will wear the same uniforms the Houston Oilers wore for nearly two decades in Houston, until 1998, when the franchise also wore them as the Tennessee Oilers. The uniforms represent the longest span of Oilers uniforms in franchise history, and arguably the most beloved uniform.

More than 10 years in the making, the PHILADELPHIA EAGLES announced that their iconic "Kelly Green" uniforms will make their return for two games in the 2023 regular season. Philadelphia waited for the NFL to change its rule on multiple helmets so that the team could be authentic and true to their history by wearing the uniform's corresponding helmet with the help of Nike creating a custom-made color for the new throwback look.

One of the most beloved aspects of the TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS' rich history is the team's original color combination of Florida Orange, red and white, which produced what is affectionately known as the ‘Creamsicle' uniforms. To the delight of Buccaneers fans everywhere, those uniforms will make their much-anticipated return when the team takes the field against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, October 15.
