On Pro Football Now, Super Bowl champion Amani Toomer, Sports Illustrated senior writer Don Banks, and NFL writer Andrew Perloff discuss how Cam Newton and the Panthers must play to defeat Seattle.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Carolina Panthers

Winners of nine of its last 10 games, 32 of its last 40, and 41 of its last 56 dating back to the final half of the 2011 season, top-seeded Seattle (12-4) hosts Carolina (7-8-1, 1-0 postseason) for a trip to the NFC title game.

Seattle ended the season with a franchise-best six-game winning streak, clinching its ninth division title in club history, third under Pete Carroll, and advancing to the divisional round for the fourth time in Carroll's five years. It is the ninth time in the last 12 seasons that Seattle has qualified for the postseason.

The Seahawks are 12-12 all-time in the postseason and hold a 9-2 home record, 2-9 road record and a 1-1 Super Bowl record. Seattle has won its last seven home postseason games dating back to 2005.

Seattle has faced Carolina four times since 2010, winning each contest, including a 13-9 win this year on Oct. 26 in Charlotte. Seattle is 5-2 vs. Carolina in the regular season and 1-0 in the postseason
