But before, a half a year before, the day before the World Cup starts to say we should win the world cup is not realistic."

Mix Diskerud, a midfielder says he is stating tight lipped about what strategy they are concentrating on for the up coming game agains Ghana but says their toughness is well known, "It is probably the midfield and the defense that I cam going to match up against, I am not going to tell you too much about what I know about them (Ghana), but I know they are physical and I know they are tactical as well. It will be interesting and a lot of fun if I have the chance."

The US plays the Ghana in its first World Cup match. They have lost to the Black Stars in their last two World Cup meetings. The US has never placed higher than 3rd in the World Cup and that was in 1930.
