Colin Kaepernick threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns with 13 completions to Anquan Boldin to lead the San Francisco 49ers past the Green Bay Packers 34-28 Sunday at the Candlestick Park.
Boldin was unstoppable, also accounting for 208 yards and a touchdown.
Vernon Davis caught his first of a pair of touchdown passes from Kaepernick for 20 yards to take an early lead.
Aaron Rodgers answered with a short right to Randall Cobb for five yards and a touchdown.
The second quarter showed both teams again exchanging touchdowns, with Kaepernick finding Boldin as Rodgers answered with a short scoring strike to Jermichael Finley.
A short Kaepernick pass to Davis for two yards regained the lead for the 49ers, before the Packers tied the game at 21 in the third quarter when Rodgers connected with Jordy Nelson for an 8-yard touchdown pass.
Rookie Eddie Lacy put the Packers ahead on a 2-yard run with 8:26 left.
The 49ers answered with Frank Gore scoring a go-ahead, 1-yard touchdown with 5:47 remaining.
Aaron Rodgers threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns but his Packers left Candlestick Park with a loss.
