Almond-Apricot Cereal Squares Recipe Ingredients

    4 cups Kellogg's Special K cereal

    1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped

    1/2 cup agave nectar

    1/4 cup sugar

    1/2 cup almond butter

    Pinch salt

    Line an 8-by-8-inch baking pan with heavy-duty aluminum foil

    Lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.

    In a large bowl, combine cereal and apricots.

    In a heavy saucepan, combine agave nectar, sugar and almond butter; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Pour over cereal and gently stir to coat.

    Scrape into prepared pan and spread into an even layer.

    With a spoon, press down to compact mixture.

    Refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes. Let cool and cut into squares.
