OKC Will Try to Regain Thunder After Defeat to Heat

Oklahoma City, OK
With superstars Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in the fold, the Oklahoma City Thunder will remain a serious threat to make another serious title push next season.
In the aftermath of a 4-1 series loss to the eventual NBA champion Miami Heat, the young and talented Thunder remains a force to be reckoned with for more seasons to come.
Durant and Westbrook proved they could go head-to-head with reigning MVP LeBron James and his super sidekick Dwyane Wade in an up-and-down game.
Power forward Serge Ibaka also showed this postseason that he could create his own shots when needed while Thabo Sefolosha proved he's a menace on the defensive end.
Unfortunately, despite a talented lineup, the Thunder's inexperience and youth finally caught them in clutch situations.
The Thunder, torching opponents with a barrage of jumpers up to the finals, ran out of steam vs. the Heat.
The Heat showed poise in crunch time while James and Wade attacked the baskets aggressively leading to easy baskets.
Despite a disappointing stint in the finals, many basketball analysts Oklahoma will still reign supreme in the Western Conference for more years to come.
