Sophomore running back Ronnie Hillman covered 172 yards on 27 carries with two scores and the San Diego State Aztecs slaughtered the Air Force Falcons, 41-27 Thursday at Falcon Stadium.
Hillman continued his prolific season Thursday night, rushing for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lead San Diego State.
Hillman, with 881 yards on 145 carries with 10 touchdowns, ripped the Falcons apart throughout.
With his team leading by just 7 points entering the final quarter, the Aztec running back lit up the scoreboard with two rushing touchdowns, including a 57-yard TD run that gave them a 41-20 bulge.
Senior quarterback Ryan Lindley also had a superb night, going 15-for-20 for 209 yards with two scores.
Falcons senior quarterback Tim Jefferson threw 22-for-36 for 224 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Aztecs improved their conference record to 1-1 (4-2 overall), while the Falcons remained winless in MWC play at 0-2 (3-3 overall).
