Freshman quarterback Braxton Miller ran for 99 yards and two touchdowns as Ohio State's running game overpowered the Wisconsin Badgers, 33-29 Saturday night at Ohio Stadium.
Miller unleashed his inner Michael Vick as the freshman signal caller covered 99 yards on 19 carries and ran for two touchdowns.
Miller also hooked up with wide receiver Devin Smith for the game-winning 40-yard touchdown pass play with 20 ticks left.
Senior running back Dan Herron rolled up 160 yards on 33 carries, while junior running back Jordan Hall churned out just 9 yards on six carries though he scored a touchdown.
Senior quarterback Russell Wilson completed 20-of-32 passes for 253 yards with three TD for the Badgers, who almost snatched the victory after trailing 26-14 late in the fourth quarter.
Jared Abbrederis snared a pair of late TD passes, covering 17 and 49 yards. from the signal-caller as Wisconsin actually forged a 29-26 lead with just 1:18 left.
The 15th-ranked Badgers (6-2) suffered another loss after seeing their BCS title bid squashed last week by the Michigan State Spartans.
The embattled Buckeyes (5-3) captured their second straight win and see a bright future with Miller orchestrating their offense.
