Fresh from capturing another Track and Field Athlete of the Year award, Jamaica's sprint sensation Usain Bolts has already set his sights on the upcoming London Games as he aims to capture four gold medals in the quadrennial meet

Bolt salvaged his third IAAF Track and Field Athlete of the Year plum Friday, tying the record of Moroccan middle distance kingpin Hicham El Guerrouj with three awards.

The 25-year-old Jamaican successfully defended 200m title and helped Jamaica retained the 4x100m relay crown in a record-breaking time of 37.04 seconds.

Bolt was not able to keep his 100m crown after committing two false starts in the finals.

In the end, Jamaican Yohan Blake became the new 100m dash champion, ending his reign in the most popular sprint event.

Nevertheless, Bolt is confident he can perform better in the upcoming London Games, where he attempts to equal Carl Lewis' record of four Olympic gold medals.

The Jamaican looks to retain his Olympic titles in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m, while competing in the 4x400m relay event.

"I will probably be in good shape and I know the guys are really stepping up the 400m level in Jamaica," Bolt told BBC News Friday.

Meanwhile, Australian sprint hurdler Sally Pearson also nabbed her first Athlete of the Year award after ruling the 100m hurdle event in a time of 12.21 seconds at the World Championships.
