Wimbledon, United Kingdom

Novak Djokovic dispatched Rafael Nadal in the Men's final at Wimbledon without much fuss, winning 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-2.

Djokovic's strong court coverage proved to be the difference in the new No. 1 player in the world's win over the defending Wimbledon titlist.

Djokovic is a remarkable 48-1 on the year, with five wins over Nadal including victories on three different surfaces: hard court, grass and clay.

"It's really hard to describe this with any words," Djokovic said, according to espn.com. "The best day of my life, the most special day of my life. Wimbledon was the first tennis tournament I ever watched."

"I think I am still sleeping, having this dream."

Serbian President Boris Tadic was on hand to take in the action of the two tennis greats.

Nadal had won 20 straight matches here, including the 20008 and 2010 championships.
