The Eagles, like every other team, were busy making moves in the offseason, but Philadelphia made big splashes in free agency in just two days, as it wrapped up the week by signing the best free agent in the whole class- -Nnamdi Asomugha Friday.

The stunning acquisition came a day after the Eagles added cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and defensive end Jason Babin.

On Friday, the Eagles also came to terms with former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young on a one-year pact. Young will back up Michael Vick.

With Asomugha being paired with fellow star cornerbacks Rodgers-Cromartie and Asante Samuel, the Eagles are considered to have an impregnable defensive backfield.

The stunning developments have thrilled the Philadelphia fans base but also have been the constant topic in the NFL these days.

At the team's training camp in Bethlehem, Pa., new quarterback Young even boldly declared to the media that the Eagles are now the "Dream Team."

"Dream team," Young said via USA TODAY. "From Nnamdi (Asomugha) to (Dominique Rodgers-) Cromartie, to Jason (Babin) to myself. I know they are going to do some more things. . . . It's just beautiful to see where we're trying to go."

Meanwhile, Philadelphia added yet another prized free agent Saturday, announcing a five-year package with defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins. The deal is reportedly worth $25 million.
