Isaiah Canaan scored 15 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, while Monte Poole added 14 for the victors.
Colorado State, which trailed just 24-23 at the break, shot poorly in connecting on just 33.3 percent of its field goals including just 3 of 14 attempts from long distance.
