2012 NBA Playoffs
Miami, FL
David West scored 16 points and George Hill added 15 as the Indiana Pacers knocked off the Miami Heat, 78-75 in game two of the Eastern Conference semifinals Tuesday night.
The Pacers outscored the struggling Heat 28-14 in the third quarter and held on for the win, which knotted up the series at 1-1.
LeBron James scored 28 points and Dwyane Wade added 24, but no other Heat player reached double-figures in scoring.
LeBron missed a pair of key free throws late, however, and could take flak for again deferring to Wade in the closing minutes.
The Heat missed the injured Chris Bosh, and hit just 1 of 16 three-pointers in the loss.
Miami scored just 31 points combined in the second and third quarters.
