Milwaukee, WI

Jonathan Lucroy bunted in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning and the Milwaukee Brewers went on to nab a 9-4 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Sunday in Game 2 of their National League Division Series at Miller Park.

The Brewers moved one win away from clinching a spot in the National League Championship Series as Lucroy, Ryan Braun, Rickie Weeks, Nyjer Morgan, and Prince Fielder all delivered key hits in the gutty victory over the D'Backs.

Braun was efficient again for the second straight game, going 3-for-4 at the plate with three hits, three RBI, and two runs.

But it was Lucroy who pulled off the biggest hit.

With the game tied at 4-4 in the sixth inning, Lucroy - known to his teammates as Mr. Squeeze - came up with a run-producing sacrifice bunt into fielder's choice to pitcher.

Lucroy's bunt went straight to Brad Ziegler's mitt but the D'backs relief pitcher committed a throwing error that allowed Jerry Hairston Jr. to score the tie-breaking run.

Corey Hart, Morgan, and Braun then drove in runs as the Brew Crew forged a commanding 2-0 series lead going to Phoenix Tuesday.

Paul Goldschmidt, Chris Young, and Justin Upton sparked the D'backs offense early on, but 'Zons couldn't score off the Brewers relievers.

Brewers starter Zack Greinke allowed 8 hits and four runs with seven strikeouts over five innings, while relief pitcher Takashi Saito took the win after shutting down the D-Backs in the pivotal sixth inning.
