The No.1 LSU Tigers continued to roll in Week 11, defeating Western Kentucky, 42-9 while the second-ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys stayed perfect with a 66-6 rout of the Texas Tech Red Raiders Saturday night.

Alfred Blue and Kenny Hilliard both ran for two TD, as top-ranked Tigers (10-0, 6-0 SEC) shrugged off a lackluster first half to extend their winning streak to 10.

It marked the first time that LSU has opened a season with 10 straight wins since the 1958 national team amassed an 11-0 record.

The triumph boosts the Tigers' hold on the top spot in the college football rankings.

The Cowboys (10-0, 7-0 Big 12) also claimed their 10th straight win against a reeling Red Raiders team, who have lost three in a row for the first time since 1998.

Brandon Weeden completed 31-of-37 passes for 423 yards and five TD, while Joseph Randle carried the ball 18 times for 78 yards and three TD in the Cowboys' demolition of Texas Tech.

In Starkville, MS, Trent Richardson amassed 127 yards with a TD on 32 carries as the No. 3 Alabama Crimson halted the surging Mississippi State Bulldogs with a 24-7 trouncing.

The win enabled Alabama (9-1, 6-1 SEC) to get back on track after last week's 9-6 loss to the top-ranked Tigers.

Week 11 also saw a pair of top 10 teams upset, with No. 4 Stanford being falling to the seventh-ranked Oregon Ducks and No. 5 Boise State getting edged by TCU.

The speedier and more experienced Ducks (9-1, 7-0 Pac-12) posted a 53-30 conquest over Andrew Luck and his fourth-ranked Cardinal (9-1, 7-1), halting the nation's longest winning streak at 17 games.

At Boise, ID, the Horned Frogs notched their fifth straight win at the expense of the fifth-ranked Boise State 36-35.

The Broncos had a chance to snag a win, but freshman kicker Dan Goodale missed a 39-yard field goal as time expired.

In Fayetteville, AR, the No. 8 Arkansas Razorbacks kept alive its hopes for a second straight BCS bowl game with a 49-7 crushing of the Tennessee Vols.

It also enabled the Razorbacks to stay alive in the SEC race.

The ninth-ranked Clemson Tigers (9-1, 6-1 ACC), clinched their second ACC Atlantic Division crown in three seasons with 31-28 victory over the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
