All-Star first baseman Prince Fielder gave a pessimistic view about his future with the Milwaukee Brewers, believing he could be playing for another team next season.

In an interview with TBS after the Brewer's 6-2 loss to Colorado Rockies, Fielder said he feels his days are numbered in Milwaukee.

"I'm signed for this year, but being real about it, it is probably the last year." "It's the same thing I've been saying," Fielder told TBS. "That's what you guys said last year. Probably. It is what it is."

The 29-year-old Fielder emerged as a top contender for the National League MVP award, batting .295 with 32 home runs and 109 RBIs this season.

With Fielder and All-Star Ryan Braun leading the way, the Brewers (87-63) are in position to return to the MLB postseason.

Fielder admitted he had great relationship with Braun for the past five years, but insisted the Brewers' one-two punch could probably see its last year as his teammate already signed a big bucks deal with the club.

There may not be enough money to retain Fielder with a new deal, however.

"It's been great, unfortunately, this is probably the last year of the one-two punch... But I think it's been good, (five) years, him and me. Hopefully, we can go out with a blast," Fielder told ESPN Wednesday.

Fielder signed a one-year, $15.5 million deal with the Brewers last winter and could pocket more money when he becomes a free agent after this season.
