Juan Mata Scores Twice as Chelsea Rally Past Tottenham

Juan Mata scores twice and Daniel Sturridge struck in stoppage time to seal Chelsea's come-from-behind 4-2 victory over the Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
Chelsea solidified grip its on top of the English Premier League standings as they overcame a 2-1deficit in the second half to foil the revenge bid of former tactician and Hotspur manager André Villas-Boas.
Chelsea took a 1-0 lead at halftime courtesy of a nifty goal by Gary Cahill in the 17th minute. However, Hotspur came out strong in the second half as William Gallas scored the equalizer in the 47th minute and Jermain Defoe nailed the go-ahead goal in the 54th minute.
But Chelsea proved to have a much superior attacking unit as Mata found the back of the net in the 66th and 69th minute and Daniel Sturridge put the icing on the cake with another goal in stoppage time.
With the win, Chelsea improved to 7-1-0 while Tottenham slipped to 4-2-2.
