All is well in Jet land. At least for now.

After a tumultuous week and three straight losses, the New York Jets got back on track Monday night with a 24-6 victory over the winless Miami Dolphins.

It wasn't all that an impressive performance, but it was what the Jets needed, a win. And it quieted the storm around the team for the time being.

"We needed a win in the worst way," Jets coach Rex Ryan said. "I'm just happy that we found a way to get one."

They got one thanks to a missed pass interference call on a play that turned into a 100-yard interception return by Darrelle Revis, who had two picks on the night.

Mark Sanchez and the Jets offense did just enough and the Dolphins just couldn't overcome their own mistakes.

"Losing was tough," Revis said. "It was hard coming to work. We wanted to get this win. We came in with a great game plan and guys stuck together."

Now it remains to be seen how long Gang Green can keep it together.

The 4-1 San Diego Chargers visit on Sunday and then the Jets have their bye week. A win and the Jets will certainly feel like they have turned the corner, another loss and a 3-4 record entering the bye, and who knows what will happen.

Last week wide receiver Santonio Holmes and offensive lineman Brandon Moore got into a war of words through the media that resulted in Ryan getting involved and having a meeting with the pair.

Holmes criticized the team's line play in the media and Moore responded by saying that was not the type of behavior the team needed from a captain.

Then there was Derrick Mason, the wide receiver was traded because he wasn't producing as expected but the real reason was his mouth and criticism of the offense far in a way outweighed his production on the field.

Winning fixes a lot of flaws and heals a lot of wounds, but the wins have to keep coming. San Diego is no gimme and a trip to Buffalo and a home game against New England loom after the bye.

So it won't be long before we find out whether the Jets have turned the corner or are about to walk off a cliff.
