Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw 24-for-34 for 228 yards with five touchdowns to spearhead the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 38-17 rout over the Tennessee Titans at Heinz Field.

After failing to score a TD pass in last week's 17-10 loss to the Houston Texans, Roethlisberger bounced back big time as he grilled the Titans defense with five touchdown passes and committed just an interception.

Roethlisberger's prolific passing game was on display all game as he hooked-up with wideouts Heath Miller, Hines Ward, Mike Wallace, and tight end David Johnson.

The Titans captured the first lead of the match on a 29-yard field goal by Rob Bironas before Roethlisberger and Steelers offense finally took off.

The Steelers quarterback delivered his first TD pass of the game on an 8-yard pass to Heath Miller with three minutes left in the first quarter.

Roethlisberger capped his sensational game on a 40-Yard hook-up with Wallace to make it a 38-17 game.

The Steelers defense was also merciless in the air and on the ground, allowing Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck just one TD pass and holding Pro Bowl running back Chris Johnson to just 51 yards on 14 receptions.

With the win, the Steelers improved their record to 3-2 tied with the Cincinnati Bengals (3-2) and behind the Baltimore Ravens (3-1) in the AFC North.

The Titans (3-2) are tied with the Houston Texans (3-2) for the top spot in AFC South.
