New York Jets center Nick Mangold is listed questionable for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, Jets coach Rex Ryan confirmed Saturday.
Mangold, three-time Pro Bowler, sustained a high ankle sprain in a win over the Jaguars in Week 2.
Ryan said Mangold's availability Sunday is a game-time decision and added he will further look into the center's injury to determine if his quarterback's main protector is ready to play.
"If the game was today, I'd say no," Ryan told New York Daily Friday.
Still, Ryan lauded Mangold's competitiveness despite being limited in practice this week.
"He wants to compete against the best," Ryan told New York Daily about Mangold.
As a potential highly-physical clash with the Ravens draws near, Ryan wants his players to be at their best especially after coming off a 34-24 lost in Oakland last week.
