Michael Vick, who did not participate in Wednesday afternoon's practice, was back on the field Thursday as a full participant, an indication that the star quarterback might play in Week 3.

Vick, who is a vital part in the Eagles' hunt for a Super Bowl title this season, suffered a concussion Sunday's loss to the Falcons

He continued to make progress in his return, participating in the team's morning walkthrough and attending meetings Wednesday, but was held out of the afternoon practice. Vick did not exhibit concussion-like symptoms.

On Thursday, the 31-year-old Pro Bowl quarterback took all the first team snaps at practice after being fully cleared by the team and an independent neurologist.

Vick was not available after practice as he had to attend meetings including one with team head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder.

The Eagles indicated in a statement, as reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer Thursday, "Vick was evaluated and cleared by the independent neurosurgeon in order to return to practice today."

The status of the four-time Pro Bowl pick for Sunday's clash against the Giants remains unknown.

Eagles coach Andy Reid had indicated via the New York Daily News, "We'll take it day-by-day."

In the Daily News report, Reid repeatedly refused to say if Vick would get the starting job Sunday, but he said that he is preparing all three of his quarterbacks - Vick, Vince Young and Mike Kafka.

Young returned to practice Wednesday after dealing with a hamstring problem that caused him to be inactive the first two contests.
