It was de-ja-vu all over again for Daniel Bailey and Eli Manning.

Bailey missed a potential game-tying field goal after being iced for the second week in a row, and Manning led his NFL-best sixth fourth -quarter comeback as the visiting New York Giants took control of the NFC East with a riveting 37-34 victory over the stunned Dallas Cowboys Sunday night.

In a game that featured outstanding quarterback play, Manning led two touchdown drives totaling 138 yards in the final 5 ½ minutes to allow New York (7-6) to snap a four-game losing skid and win three straight in Dallas for the first time since 1988-90.

In addition, New York now controls its own destiny within the division. Both Dallas (7-6) and New York have three games left, including the season finale at Giants Stadium.

Trailing 34-22, Manning engineered an 80-yard TD march in just eight plays, hitting Jeff Ballard on a 8-yard scoring pass that brought New York within 34-29 with 3:15 left. Earlier in the quarter, Romo threw two of his four touchdown passes to provide the Cowboys a 12-point margin.

Romo had a chance to ice the game at 34-29 but he overthrew a wide open Miles Austin, allowing New York to take over after a punt at its own 42 with 2:20 left.

Manning wasted little time hitting 3-of-4 passes to set up Brandon Jacobs' one yard TD run. After D.J. Ware converted the two-point conversion New York led by a field goal with 46 ticks left.

Manning finished 27 of 47 for 400 yards with two TDs and an interception.

However Romo, who finished 21 of 31 for 321 yards and was not picked off, hit Austin deep over the middle twice and Bailey drilled a 47-yarder, but New York called time to ice the rookie. It worked as Jason Paul Pierre got a finger on the low kick that came up way short.

Last week, Bailey kicked a game-winning field goal against Arizona but Dallas coach Jason Garrett called timeout prior to the snap. Bailey missed the second attempt and Arizona won 16-13 in overtime.

Dallas appeared to have the game and division wrapped up after Romo's two scoring strikes in the fourth. He found Laurent Robinson for 74 yards on a deep crossing pattern that led to a 6-yard TD pass to Austin.

After Dallas linebacker Sean Lee intercepted a screen pass attempt that was tipped by Victor Butler and bounced off the arm of a Giants linemen, Romo found Dez Bryant all alone three plays later for a 50-yard score and a 12-point bulge with 5 ½ minutes left.

But Dallas, which was dialing up blitzes all night without a sack, couldn't stop Manning and blew its third double-digit fourth-quarter lead of the season. New York totaled 510 yards and 28 first downs and hed the ball for over 34 minutes.

In a game that provided little defense, Pierre was a standout from his end position with eight tackles and two sacks, including one for a safety.

Dallas received a big blow when sensational rookie running back DeMarco Murray left in the first quarter with a broken left ankle. Felix Jones filled in admirably, rushing for 106 yards on 16 carries.
