It's not always going to look pretty but the evidence shows that Tim Tebow is just going to find a way to win football games.

Shut down by the New York Jets' defense for much of the game, Tebow capped a 95-yard drive with a 20-yard touchdown run the the closing minutes to lead the Denver Broncos to a 17-13 victory Thursday night.

Tebow had 11 yards on two carries before the final drive but gashed the Jets for 58 yards on six carries on the final drive while improving to 4-1 as a starter this season.

Denver was 1-4 under Kyle Orton.

"It's hard to explain," Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker said. "I always say it's that `It' factor. You either got it or you don't. It's almost magical, to come in on that last drive of the game and to do the things that he's done to win a game. It's pretty special."

The arguments regarding Tebow's ability to play quarterback in the league long-term will still go on - he can't throw in a passing league vs. he's a winner and gets it done. And while it's likely he won't be able to run the spread option for his whole career, it's working now and he can continue to work to improve in the pass game.

For now it's working and Denver shouldn't fix what isn't broken. For a team that hasn't been to the playoffs since the 2005 season, Tebow and a defense that is getting lost in the shuffle despite plaing great football, are offering hope..

Tebow was 9-of-20 for 104 yards passing against the Jets and had 68 yards rushing on eight carries. But all those numbers don't mean much for the 5-5 Broncos, only the final score matters and that has gone Denver's way four of the five times Tebow has started a game this season

"I know people are still going to talk bad about us," All-Pro cornerback Champ Bailey said. "But I don't care. We always have a chance with 15 as our quarterback."
