Laquon Treadwell chose Ole Miss over Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

"There was one school that built a great relationship with me and my mother," said the No. 1 wide receiver and No. 19 prospect in the ESPN 150 about Ole Miss.

Ole Miss now has 21 commitments, 11 of whom are four-star prospects. Treadwell is the highest-ranked commitment in the class.

The Rebels was on the top of Treadwell's list for sometime before he committed.

He took his time in the recruiting process and used his official visits as basis for his decision.

When he came up with his top three choices he had bumped off Michigan, which used to be his number 1.

"I took my time in the process so I could make the right choice for myself," he said, while saying he had fun with it.

Ole Miss defensive back Anthony Standifer, a former high school teammate and close friend, initially got Treadwell interested in the Rebels. Coach Hugh Freeze and his staff did the rest.

The Rebels still could land another prep standout in defensive end Robert Nkemdiche.
