Freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel displayed the form that won him the Heisman Trophy, accounting for four of the team's six touchdowns, to lead No. 9 Texas A&M past No. 11 Oklahoma, 41-13, in the Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium.

Manziel completed 22 of 34 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for two more as the Aggies clinched their second straight bowl win and first in the SEC.

With a career-high and FBS-bowl record 229 yards on 17 carries, Manziel tallied a Cotton-bowl record 516 total yards for the Aggies, who capped an 11-2 season with their sixth straight win.

Manziel also became the second player with 200-plus rush yards and 200-plus passing yards in a bowl game since Vince Young did it in the 2006 Rose Bowl.

Senior wide receiver Ryan Swope had 104 yards on eight catches and a touchdown while Uzoma Nwachukwu had three receptions for 81 yards and a score. Freshman wideout Mike Evans had 83 yards on seven catches.

Junior running back Ben Malena rushed for 56 yards on eight carries and a touchdown while Trey Williams carried the ball six times for 41 yards and a score for the Aggies.

Landry Jones completed 35 of 48 passes for 278 yards and threw the Sooners only touchdown to senior wide receiver Justin Brown as Oklahoma finished the season with a 10-3 record.

Junior wide receiver Kenny Stilts led the Sooners' receiving corps with 67 yards on seven catches while rusher Brennan Clay ran for 44 yards on 10 carries for the Sooners.

Manziel opened the first quarter with a 23-yard run after engineering the Aggies' eight-play, 75 yard drive that lasted just 2:39.

The Sooners trimmed the gap behind Michael Hunnicutt's two field goals from 23 and 24 yards before Manziel gave the Aggies a 14-6 advantage.

Jones then sparked a 13-play, 83-yard drive that he capped with a six-yard pass to Brown to make it 14-13 at the break.

In the third, the Aggies poured 20 unanswered points to take control of the game. Manziel then drove the final nail in the Sooners' coffin with a 34-yard touchdown heave to Nwachukwu in the fourth.
