University of Oregon runner Tanguy Pepiot was ahead in the Men's steeplechase at the Pepsi Team Invitational and began cheering the crowd on as he approached the finish line, assuming he was going to win. But he wasn't that fast because Meron Simon from the University of Washington passed him by one tenth of a second winning the race! Tanguy told The Oregonian, 'I just wanted to celebrate winning in front of our crowd. I was excited about it. But the race wasn't over. ... It wasn't very smart.'
