Daniel Paille beat Corey Crawford with a wrist shot at 13:48 of overtime to push the Boston Bruins past the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals at the United Center.
The series is now tied at 1-all.
The Blackhawks outshot the Bruins in the first period, 19-4, but only had Patrick Sharp's goal at 11:22 to show for it. Tuukka Rask stopped 12 shots before Sharp collected a rebound and put a 32-foot wrist shot by the B's goalie.
The equalizer came at 14:58 of the second with Chris Kelly putting in a shot after a rebound of Paille's shot to the tie the game.
The Bruins outplayed and out shot the Blackhawks in the third period, 8-5, but couldn't convert.
The ice started to open up in the middle of the period, giving the Blackhawks more opportunities, but Chicago couldn't add a goal.
The Bruins' defensemen did a good job of limiting the Blackhawks' opportunities. Patrick Sharp had a strong shot attempt at 16:27 but Tuukka Rask made another nice glove save.
