NBA 2013 Playoffs

Chicago, IL

Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah had to tell a reporter it's not fun having a middle finger thrust upon his face.

"Do you have fun when somebody sticks their middle finger in your face?" Noah shot back when asked by ESPNChicago.com if he has "fun with fan interaction."

He was walking off the American Airlines court in Miami after getting ejected in their Game 2 playoff defeat against the Miami Heat when a fan, Filomena Tobias, widow of former CNBC commentator and hedge fund manager Seth Tobias, thrusted a digit into his face.

A photo of the incident has made the rounds on the Internet.

But Noah admitted that unruly fans, especially during road games, are "part of the process."

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau is making on-court composure a priority for the team moving forward in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series.

"Not only Joakim, but our entire team," Thibodeau said, who described the finger thrusting incident as not important.
