Mike Napoli picked up the Texas Rangers just before it got to be too late.

Napoli hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the seventh inning and Colby Lewis pitched six strong innings to lead the Rangers to a 4-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 3 of their American League Division Series Monday night.

The Rangers lead the series 2-1 and can lock up a trip to the American League Championship Series Tuesday in Game 4.

With the Rays ahead 1-0, Napoli hit a shot off of David Price to give the Rangers a 2-1 lead. Josh Hamilton added a two-run single to cap the uprising for Texas, which has won two straight game in the series.

Napoli and Hamilton picked up Lewis, who kept the Rangers in the game until the bats heated up. Lewis yielded just one run and one hit in six innings.

Neftali Feliz recorded the final four outsfor the Rangers.

Desmond Jennings hit a pair of solo home runs for Tampa Bay, including one in the eighth-inning off reliever Mike Adams that cut the Texas lead to 4-3.

Price was the losing pitcher even though he took a four-hit shutout into the seventh. He allowed three runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings.
