Penn State University officials announced Thursday that they will donate $1.5 million in bowl money to a pair of sex-crime advocacy organizations.

The announcement of the donation is the latest development around the troubling sex-abuse allegations made against former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky.

Also Thursday, Sandusky's lawyer Joe Amendola said he has not discussed pleading guilty with Sandusky and that the 67-year-old maintains he is innocent of the charges.

The scandal rocked the school and the football program, causing the ousting of head coach Joe Paterno and university President Graham Spanier.

Athletic Director Tim Curley has been placed on administrative leave, and Vice President Gary Schultz stepped down.

Schultz and Curley are charged with lying to the grand jury and failure to report to police.

In another development, slightly eery in its timing, reports indicated that Penn State bought four XXX Internet domains for $200 each to prevent businesses from using the most popular variations on its names: Penn State, PSU, Nittany Lions and The Pennsylvania State University. The school gets 10 years protection.

Penn State spokesman Jeffrey Hermann told Fox News in its report that, "Our purchase of nittanylion.xxx is intended to prevent someone from purchasing a url such as nittanyliongirls."

Herman said the school made the purchase in September, before the Sandusky scandal broke.
