Sophomore wide receiver Cody Hoffman caught three touchdown passes, including a go-ahead TD catch with seconds left, to give the BYU Cougars a 24-21 victory over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in the 2011 Armed Forces Bowl at Gerald Ford Stadium.

Hoffman played the hero's role for the Cougars, nabbing Riley Nelson's hurl and keeping himself inbounds in the end zone to give his team 24-21 edge with 11 seconds remaining.

Nelson threw 17-for-40 for 250 yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions, while Hurricane senior quarterback G.J. Kinne went 17-for-31 for 214 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

With Kinne orchestrating the offense, the Hurricane seemed to be in a position to win.

Hurricane junior wideout Bryan Burnham covered 112 yards on four receptions and scored a 30-yard touchdown catch that could have given Tulsa the win if not for Hoffman's late theatrics.

With the win, BYU capped a successful season with a 10-3 slate, losing only to Texas, Utah, and TCU.
