Just when it appeared Tim Tebow had run out of luck, he added another unimaginable ending to his storybook season.

The polarizing second-year quarterback with the uncanny comeback and leadership abilities, led the Denver Broncos on three consecutive late-scoring drives good enough for a 13-10 overtime win over the baffled Chicago Bears Sunday.

Tebow, who is 6-1 since taking over for Kyle Orton, has won the hearts of fans all around the country and especially in Denver. With improbable comeback after comeback, he is quickly surpassing his boss John Elway as the most beloved Bronco ever.

Denver entered leading the AFC West at 7-5. The Broncos were on a five-game winning streak with Tebow rallying the Broncos in the fourth quarter in the last three games. However, despite his comebacks, many analysts still felt Tebow would never survive as a quarterback in the NFL because of his poor throwing mechanics and running skills that are better suited for the college game,

The analysts looked vindicated early against Chicago. Tebow and the Broncos got off to their customary slow start, going scoreless with 155 yards through three quarters. Tebow was pathetic, completing 3-of-19 passes for 45 yards.

But trailing 10-0, Tebow finally got Denver on the board late in the fourth quarter, driving the Broncos 63 yards on seven plays to cut their deficit to 10-7.

But with just 2:08 left in the game and no timeouts, Denver failed to convert an on-side kick and got the ball back at its own 20 with 58 seconds left.

Tebow came through again. He completed 3-of-5 passes for 39 yards and Matt Prater booted a 59-yard field goal with eight ticks left to knot the score and force overtime.

Chicago won the toss and advanced the ball inside the Denver 35, but Marion Barber fumbled, and Tebow was set up for yet another comeback win - and he did not disappoint. The lefthander completed two passes for 26 yards and added a five-yard run, setting up Prater's game-winning 51-yarder.

In the fourth quarter and OT, Tebow completed 18-of-25 passes for 191 yards. It was Tebow's sixth fourth-quarter or OT-comeback win in 11 pro starts, an NFL record, and he broke Elway's record with a fourth straight win when trailing in the fourth quarter.

With embattled quarterback Caleb Hanie at the helm, Chicago was held to 83 yards in the first half, but the Bears got a spark when

All-World punt returner Devin Hester busted free for 42 yards, setting up a 42-yard scoring drive capped by Barber's 9-yard run off left tackle.

Robbie Gould added a 57-yard field goal on the first play of the fourth quarter to stake Chicago to a 10-0 lead.

Barber ran for 108 yards on 27 carries, but Hanie was ineffective in his third straight start, going 12 of 19 for 115 yards.
