Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes as the New England Patriots overcame a slow start to post a 38-20 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday.

Brady completed 24 for 34 passes for 361 yards in the victory which was New England's third straight.

The Eagles scored on their first two possession to build a 10-0 lead and were able to harass Brady early on but that didn't last.

Brady and the Patriot offense eventually got going and New England opened up a 24-13 lead at the half.

Brady, who tied Johnny Unitas for sixth all-time with his 119th career win, extended the lead to 31-13 on the first drive of the second half when he threw a nine-yard TD pass to Wes Welker.

Vince Young made his second straight start at quarterback in place of the injured Michael Vick for the Eagles.

Young was 26 for 48 for 400 yards and two touchdowns.
