Houston, TX
Arian Foster dashed 8 yards for a first half touchdown run and tacked on a 42-yarder after intermission as the Houston Texans rolled over the Cincinnati Bengals 31-10 in the opening round of the AFC playoffs Saturday.
It marked the first postseason victory in the team's decade of existence and propels the Texans into the second round where they will take on the Baltimore Ravens.
The game was even in several categories except a key one: turnovers.
Cincy quarterback Andy Dalton tossed three interceptions while Houston had zero turnovers.
J.J. Watt snared one pick and returned it for 29 yards for a score to give the Texans a 17-10 lead late in the second quarter.
The Texans scored twice in the second half and held the Bengals scoreless to coast to the win.
Cincy could only muster Cedric Benson's first quarter touchdown run and a Mike Nugent field goal.
