Best NFL Records, Past 10 Years

Having continuity under center is one of the key ingredients to an organization's success on the field.
Over the past 10 years, five NFL teams have posted a winning percentage of .600 or better -- led by the INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (114-46, .713).
Those five clubs have combined for 34 playoff berths and nine Super Bowl appearances in that span.
Four of those five teams will begin the 2009 season with the same starting quarterback that they did in 2005, including 2008 AP Most Valuable Player PEYTON MANNING, who has started every game at quarterback for the Colts since he entered the league in 1998.
"For the long-term success of the franchise, that's the thing that you build on," says NBC's new analyst TONY DUNGY, who coached Manning in Indianapolis for seven seasons. "I played in Pittsburgh and we had Terry Bradshaw for a decade and that makes a big difference. "
