Lady Gaga has purchased 55 items that previously belonged to King of Pop Michael Jackson at a recent auction in Beverly Hills, California.

The pop star said on Twitter, "The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson, his bravery, & fans worldwide."

She did not say what items she bought or how much she spent, but a press release form Julien's Auctions say that the following MJ memorabilia were included in the items sold last Sunday:

BAD tour jacket sold for $240,000

BAD tour belt sold for $37,500

BAD tour shirt sold for $144,000

"We Are the World" jacket sold for $40,625

White Michael Jackson fantasy glove sold for $192,000

Michael Jackson's signed loafers sold for $10,000

Michael Jackson's 1973 Oscar performance ensemble sold for $51,200

According to the press release, the proceeds of the auction were to benefit Guide Dogs of America and Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Gaga did not mention where she has archived the items or whether or not she plans to put them on display in the future.
