Patrice Bergeron scored Boston's last two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as the Bruins recovered from a 4-1 deficit en route to a 5-4 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series at TD Garden.

Bergeron forced extra period after hitting his second goal of the series with 51 seconds left and added the game-winning tally 6:05 into overtime to carry the Bruins to a semifinal clash with the winner of New York Rangers-Washington Capitals showdown.

Nathan Horton, Milan Lucic and Matt Bartkowski also scored while Tuukka Rask had 24 saves for the Bruins, who squandered a 3-1 series lead after losing two straight games to the Maple Leafs.

James Reimer tallied 30 saves, Cody Franson added two goals while Phil Kessel and Nazem Kadri had a goal each for the Maple Leafs, who looked headed to the second round after grabbing a 4-1 lead early in the third.

Bartkowski put the Bruins ahead with an unassisted goal at 5:39 of the first before Franson smacked a power-play goal with assists from James van Riemsdyk and Dion Phaneuf to tie the game at 9:35.

In the second, Franson tallied his second goal of the game for a 2-1 lead before Kessel and Kadri scored almost three minutes apart in the third period for a 4-1 lead.

Then, the Bruins came back to life when Horton recorded his fourth goal of the series at 9:18 with assists from Lucic and David Krejci.

Nine minutes later, Lucic won a puck battle in the slot and fired a shot over Reimer with 1:22 remaining in the contest before Bergeron tied the count with a quick wrister.
