All-Star forward Blake Griffin has reportedly agreed to sign a five-year, $95 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to multiple sources.
The 23-year-old Griffin is expected to sign a contract extension this offseason but no one predicted the deal would be worth this much.
Griffin will pocket $95 million over five seasons, making him the face of the franchise through 2018.
If he is an All-Star starter for the second time or a member of the All-NBA team this season, Griffin will be the second player to receive a max deal following the end of his rookie contract under the 'Derrick Rose' rule.
