Claudio Bieler ended Sporting Kansas City's 197-minute scoring drought with a goal in the fifth minute while Graham Zusi added an insurance score, dealing the Montreal Impact their first MLS loss, 2-0, Saturday at Sporting Park.

Bieler put Sporting ahead in the fifth minute with his third goal in five matches, Zusi scored in the 80th minute and Jimmy Nielsen as they dealt the Impact (4-1-0) their first loss in five matches.

Benny Feilhaber recorded his first two assists as Sporting broke a three-match winless streak where it scored just one goal, improving to 2-1-2.

Impact manager Marco Schallibaum was ejected in the 81st minute for throwing water at referee Jorge Gonzalez. He is expected to be suspended when the Impact Columbus on April 13.

Kansas City's Seth Sinovic booted Patrice Bernier's giveaway downfield to Feilhaber, who sent the ball to Bieler.

The Argentine striker then cut the ball away from Matteo Ferrari at the top of the box and buried his low shot inside the right post past Eric Kronberg.

In the 11th minute, Aurelien Collin headed in Zusi's free kick but was ruled offside.

Sporting had a scary moment near the half-hour mark when forward C.J. Sapong collided with Montreal's Jeb Brovsky on a contested header.

Sapong laid face-down for several minutes and was taken off on a back board as Bobby Convey prepared to sub in, but returned in the 31st minute after treatment for back spasms.

Montreal had a chance to tie in the second half but Nielsen saved Marco Di Vaio's left-footed volley just before the hour mark.

Zusi sealed the victory in the 80th minute when he fought off a challenge from Karl Ouimette and buried his second goal of the year.
