Seth Curry scored 29 points as the Duke Blue Devils beat Michigan State 71-61 to advance to the Elite Eight in the NCAA tournament.

Duke went the last 6:30 of the first half without a field goal giving the Michigan State Spartans the opportunity to fight its way back and close out the first half only trailing by one, 32-31.

The Blue Devils finally broke open the back-and-forth game by scoring 5 straight points midway through the second half, extending the lead to 56-46. Duke never looked back, maintaining a comfortable lead throughout the second half.

Seth Curry was 8-of-17 including 6-for-9 on three-pointers and was 7-of-7 from the foul line. Rasheed Sulaimon and Mason Plumlee also scored in double figures. Sulaimon contributed 16 points thanks to his 12-of-14 performance from the foul line. Plumlee scored 14 with 7 rebounds. Keith Appling scored 16 points for the Spartans; Adreian Payne chipped in with 14 points.

Duke's Coach K is now one win away from his 12th Final Four appearance, which would tie John Wooden's record. Up next for the Duke Blue Devils are the Louisville Cardinals, who defeated Oregon 77-69 earlier in the evening. Louisville coach Rick Pitino is eyeing his seventh Final Four trip. In November, Duke was able to defeat Louisville 76-71.

Seth Curry Leads Duke Past Michigan State
