2013 NBA Playoffs

Los Angeles, CA

For all the excitement over the Los Angeles Clippers this season, they didn't advance any further in the playoffs than the far-more storied Lakers.

Four straight losses to the Memphis Grizzlies reportedly has Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro on shaky ground after first-round exit.

Del Negro is trying to play things cool over his future with the team as the Clips did capture their first-ever division title by winning a club mark 56 regular season games.

"Those decisions are out of my hand," Del Negro said from the Clippers' training facility, according to ESPN Los Angeles. "I'll meet with Mr. Sterling and we'll talk things through. We'll see where they're at and where I'm at and we'll move forward. I'm proud of what we've done. I'm proud of my staff and how hard they've worked and I know the organization is in a much better place today, and that makes me feel proud."

Clippers management played it close to the vest in its public remarks about Del Negro's status.

"We do the exit interviews for a reason," Sacks said. "We want to have feedback from our players to hear what they have to say. Whatever we do, we do as an organization. Of course you're going to listen to your star players. You're going to listen to all your employees when you're making these decisions, but I don't think that's unusual."
