Kohl's Shoppers Can Help Local Children's Hospitals By Purchasing Special Holiday-Themed Merchandise

Proceeds from Exclusive Holiday Items Will Benefit children's hospitals

Kohl's shoppers can help 41 children's hospitals throughout the country by purchasing a special holiday CD, cuddly plush bear, a classic book or a festive holiday decoration for their home or office. Starting now through the holiday season, all Kohl's department stores are offering four unique seasonal items with all net profits benefiting local children's hospitals as a part of the Kohl's Cares for Kids program.

The holiday items - all priced at $5 - have been made exclusively for Kohl's and include, a handcrafted, hand-painted Kohl's Cares for Kids bear ornament, the family favorite book, "The Night Before Christmas," a plush bear and a holiday CD featuring such artists as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Lou Rawls singing popular songs of the season.

In addition to raising funds for children's hospitals, the Kohl's Cares for Kids program features fundraising gift cards for local schools and non-profit youth groups, a scholarship program to recognize kids who contribute in special ways to their local communities and an employee volunteer program to encourage volunteerism to benefit local non-profit organizations.
