The 64th Emmy Awards is set after nominations were announced, along with other details on the telecast.

The nominees were announced by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in an affair held at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in California, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and Kerry Washington. The complete list of nominees and awardees may be found on the Emmys official website.

"Mad Men" and "American Horror Story" received a total of 17 nominations, followed by "Downton Abbey" and "Hatfields & McCoys" with 16 nominations each. "Hemingway & Gelhorn," "Modern Family," "Saturday Night Live" and "30 Rock" are among the programs that received over 10 nominations.
