Make-Up Tips: Blush 101

Like mascara, a touch of blush can be applied in a flash for an instant pick-me-up, so it's well worth doing some research to find the perfect rouge. Here's a quick Blush 101 to get you started.

Blush Color

Vivid makeup isn't going anywhere; fall runways featured plenty of fuchsia lips and extra rosy cheeks.

The après ski, wind-blown flush is a fun, fresh look if you're feeling sassy. For a more natural feel, coral shades are fairly foolproof and lend warmth to nearly every complexion.

Blush Crème or Powder?

If your skin is at all dry, a crème blush will add dewy, youthful color without looking chalky. On the other hand, powder blush is excellent for combating oily skin and creating a clean matte look.

Blush Stain

If you favor a no-fuss, bare-faced look, cheek stains are ideal. They give long-lasting, lightweight color that lets your gorgeous skin shine through.

Blush Multi-Taskers

Last but not least, multi-taskers are great for the girl on the go who doesn't have time to coordinate the perfect lip and cheek color. One product does it all!
