Liverpool got a late goal from Dirk Kuyt to post a 2-1 victory over Manchester United in a fourth-round FA Cup match.
Kuyt scored in the 88th minute to send Liverpool to the fifth round while Chelsea got a penalty from Juan Mata and moved on with a 1-0 win at Queens Park Rangers
Second Division club Brighton knocked off Premier League Newcastle 1-0 in one of the day's upsets.
Stoke, which was defeated by Manchester City in the 2011 FA Cup final, moved on with a 2-0 victory at Derby. Bolton beat Swansea 2-1 and Norwich topped West Bromwich Albion, 2-1.
With Manchester United's defeat, the FA Cup has been thrown up for grabs and the top two teams in the Premiere League are now out of the mix. United knocked off City a round earlier.
