Philadelphia, PA
Claude Giroux scored just 32 seconds in, the Philadelphia Flyers built a 3-0 lead and went on to defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-1 in their Eastern Conference playoff opening-round series.
The Flyers won the series 4-2 and advanced to the second round.
Giroux was joined in the scorebook by teammates Scott Hartnell, Erik Gustafsson, Danny Briere and Brayden Schenn, the latter coming with just 8 seconds remaining in the tilt.
Philly netminder Ilya Bryzgalov turned aside 30 of 31 shots in his best effort of the series.
Evgeni Malkin scored his third goal of the playoffs on a second period power play for the Penguins.
Marc-Andre Fleury capped his awful series by allowing four goals on just 22 shots for the Pens.
