Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan was fined $100,000 for his comments to Australian newspaper The Herald Sun about the ongoing NBA lockout.
Jordan pretty much stated he could see both the owners and players' side in the dispute, however, the league doesn't want individual owners to speak on the matter.
"We have stars like Bogut who are entitled to certain type of demands. But for us to be profitable in small markets, we have to be able to win ballgames and build a better basketball team," Jordan told the newspaper of his opinion of the ongoing negotiations between the NBA and its players.
Jordan's comments also go against what the league wants, no revenue sharing among teams, concerned it will increase the $300 million the NBA said it lost in 2010-11.
