It's just 30,000 words and a great many are taken up in the title.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has written an e-book, "How to Win at the Sport of Business: If I Can Do It."

The book, culled from blog postings Cuban has written over the years about his business career, will be available for $2.99 through online digital retailers starting Monday.

Cuban, an Internet billionaire and owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, plans to tap his 335,000 friends on Facebook and 760,000 Twitter followers to spark sales.

Since much of the material in the e-book has already be made available online for free, it is yet to be seen how many readers will actually pay for it.

But that is not keeping Cuban from hoping for a slam dunk. When asked how may copies he would like to sell, Cuban has said a billion copies.

Cuban is also hoping for reader response and feedback. He has included his email address in the forward, and adds that the chances of a response "will certainly improve if you tell me how brilliant you have found all of this."
