A day after getting back into the series with the Brewers, a resurgent Arizona Diamondbacks struck quickly and often in claiming a 10-6 victory over Milwaukee to force the National League Division series to a decisive Game 5 Friday.

Ryan Roberts ripped a grand slam in the first inning, but that was only the beginning of the power showcase of the D-backs, who scored five runs in the first inning off Milwaukee starter Randy Wolf.

That big hit from Roberts gave the Diamondbacks the lead and the distinction of becoming the first team to hit grand slams in consecutive games since the 1977 Los Angeles Dodgers.

Arizona, arguably baseball's best rallying team this season, with 48 comeback wins during the regular season, has hit a grand slam in its last four home games (regular season and postseason).

Wednesday's result have prevented Milwaukee from winning a postseason series for the first time since reaching the 1982 World Series, and the resilient Diamondbacks can notch another comeback in the best-of-five series after trailing 0-2.

Chris Young homered twice and Aaron Hill added a solo blast as Arizona posted its first four-homer game in the postseason.

Pinch hitter Collin Cowgill, a mid-level prospect who joined the team in July, also stepped up by adding a two-out, two-run single that hiked the Diamondbacks' lead to 7-3 in the third frame.

Arizona's bullpen also stepped up after a less-than-impressive outing by starter Joe Saunders, who gave up three runs in three innings.

Micah Owings (1-0) took the win after pitching scoreless innings in relief of Saunders.

Wolf (0-1) allowed seven runs in three innings in the loss.

A rematch of Game 1 pitchers is expected in Game 5 with Diamondbacks right-hander Ian Kennedy expected to carry the momentum against the Brewers and right-hander Yovani Gallardo.
